After trying on close to 100 dresses, I finally came across this perfect mermaid gown designed for any formal or informal wedding. I wore it for the ceremony and reception, but had it cleaned and heirloomed right after. About a year ago, I moved to Germany and had to take it out of its packaging, but the color is still a nice ivory and the lace is impeccable. Soft leaf-like petals flutter out from the lace making it look very fairy-tale like. This was the idea behind the dress as it is Kirstie Kelly's design for the Disney Princess Collection. This particular dress is the Giselle, but with an elegant interpretation in the slim silhouette and all over lace. I had the back dropped in a V for a little drama.There is a bust elastic to help with slipping as the dress is strapless with a sweetheart neckline, but I had absolutely no problem with that. There is also a nice long train with buttons to bustle. This dress is absolutely beautiful and I wish to have a reason to wear it again. I'm selling it now to give someone else the chance to feel just as beautiful as I did.
