I bought this dress, new, only several months ago at a bridal boutique in San Francisco, for my autumn California beach front wedding. To be honest, it was out of my budget range, but finding a wedding dress is HARD! I completely fell in love with the feathers, the way it made me feel, and how well it enhanced my figure. The dress is fun and flirty with an ethereal whimsy and a 1920's glamour aspect.
The dress features: *A gathered organza drop waist bodice with built-in bra and whale-bone style corset tie-up back to suck you in and enhance your cleavage (think hour glass). * An exaggerated A-line flowy skirt (some say its ball gown), but its light and easy to move in. I was comfortable the whole night to dance, sit, climb beach stairs and pick up my little flower girl. (Mermaid dresses do NOT allow you this freedom of movement, trust me I tried on a least 30 dresses). * It has an asymmetrical skwarski crystal applique that gives way to subtle cascading jewels down the length of the skirt that glittered in the sunlight. * Flattering strapless sweetheart neckline * Ostrich feathers: so cool!
